I've always found that fascinating - and admirable. Jo has had this story in it's most general form planned in her mind and notebooks since 1990, and yet not only has she formed a detailed world in and around the basics that she always knew would happen, but she has managed to keep the sheer suspense going both on the page and in the public for almost 10 years now (since PS/SS's publication i mean). That's amazing to me! And slightly frustrating.... coz some part of me wants to figure it all out beforehand and find my guesses correct!

That's particularly obvious when u re-read the books. For example in all three books, Harry is amazed when Snape "can read his mind" he seems to know exactly what Harry is thinking, sometimes saying. These passages are clues to Snape's ability in occumancy?? i can't remember the word, but his ability to intercept your thoughts.

For sure; most definately 5 and 6, to get me in the mood and to brush up on my facts, so i know where everything stands and what are the possibilities leading into 7. I also have to hurry up and order a scarf (most likely Gryffindor) from Alivans, coz i always wanted to have one to wear when celebrating the release of the final book; i just didn't anticipate that it would come so soon! *sob*

no, but when I googled him being gay I accidentally found a full frontal naked photo of him. I think promotional photos should leave a little more to the imagination... Or at least have the nether regions covered!

My sister was reading an article in her new Teen Vogue about how all of the Quidditch stuff is being cut for the 5th movie. Did anybody else hear that?

I honestly don't think Dan is gay but if he is, then good for him. Actually, good for whoever he ends up with coz i think he's a charming lad and he makes me chuckle in every interview he gives! Yes, they cut Quidditch because to be fair, the 5th book alreayd has a great deal of subject matter to get through and stupid WB (Warner Bros) still insist on keeping th flicks under 3 hours (don't they understand that true fans don't care how long they go for?!) Rupert was dissapointed that Quidditch got cut as Rom has some shining moments there in this book, but Dan was glad, as he has often stated that due to his past experiences with filming those incredibly uncomfortable scenes he "may never be able to have children", hehe! Thanks for the links to the stamps, Kristie - what a sweet idea that is! I want some too!

I wish they would have done extended versions like LOTR. Then the people in the theater could see the short version, but fans could buy the longer one if they wanted.
