You should read them. They're great. I've read all his books in the Abhorsen trilogy, and most of the others. I ordered an anthology with a story of his in it, and a book of his short stories over the internet, and neither one has come in yet.

jane austen (obviously) Emily Bronte (by far the most unique and breathtaking i literally felt i was standing in the moors with Catherine. Also she's got mystique!!) J.K Rowling ( The greatest writer of our time. It's a phenomena that would make Papa Shakespeare proud) E.M Forster I love his simple prose. I feel like his simplicity adds volumes to his work. I also love how he takes aspects of his own life to bring life to his characters i.e. his homosexuality, extensive travelling... Libba Bray one of the coolest authors around. A great sardonic sense of humor. I love her gothic stylistic writing and above all my all time teen angst ridden heroine Gemma. Kurt Vonnegut: I've so far only read one of his works (slaughterhouse five) but boy did i connect with him. Margret Mitchell: I loved how she was able to capture her roots as well as the despair of the Civil War. I'm a romantic at heart, although i hide it, and i loved the story especially the ending
