I fixed your quoting thingy, you'd just accidentally deleted a bracket from the quoting code. I feel the same way! I look over them and think god if anyone ever read these they'd think I was some kind of depressed angry woman who never did anything but complain! Then I always decide to throw them away so no one ever reads them lol.

1) I am trained to be a lawyer, but decided to switch to art history. I'm so glad I did that! 2) I hate cactusses. I can't look at them. 3) I used to be a singer in a band 4) I'm not only addicted to coffee (I have this fancy espresso machine) but also to white tea 5) I also love cooking! I'm now following a cooking class my parents gave me as a present for getting my masters degree. I learned how to prepare a whole chicken, lobster and to filet fish. 6) I'm such a nerd. I love to study and learn new things. I almost never watch tv (exept for gilmore girls and greys anatomy), instead I'm always reading. 7) I would love to have beautiful nails. But I have this condition where my nails get seperated from my fingers. It looks so ugly and no doctor knows what is is. And it hurts too! 8)I love orchids. Besides they are my favorite flowers, they are the only plants that don't dy in my house. I don't have green fingers, but my orchids always look beautifull. 9) My friends all say I'm a bit crazy in a good kind of way 10) I'm getting married in august! Yey!!!

Hi Dominique ! Thanks for your congretulations! As you can Imagine, I'm very exited about it and am very busy planning the wedding right now.
No, I did't drop law, I finished it while I was studying art history too. I got my masters in law now, but it was so hard combining the two. So how is your law study going? Not very well, if you say that you wanna drop it, lol.
I used to be a lead-singer in a pop-rock band for four years. So much fun! We did mainly are own written songs, but also some covers. We used to perform in Dutch city's like Amsterdam,Utrecht, Leiden, etc. Sometimes it was really cool if you perform for a cool crowd, and sometimes we played at really terrible party's or festivals, but we didn't really care, it was fun no matter what.

Then I always decide to throw them away so no one ever reads them lol. lol, that's the same thing that happens to me. The little things I decide to save from a fateful trip to the trash can, I later throw away because it seems like I was going to jump of a building or something like that, lol. The other day I decided to keep a sort of journal of poetry, and small stories or narrations, and I decided to write those when I'm in a good mood, not when I'm angry or depressed. I haven't written in a while, but I haven't thrown out anything yet! so that's a big accomplishment for me! lol P.S.: Congratulations on your engagement Florence!

Wow, that sounds like a great idea, Brune! not that I could write poetry or anything if my life depended on it, but maybe writing a journal only when I'm in a good mood wouldn't be too bad. But then again, it's usually when life sucks that I need to sort out my thoughts on paper or on canvas (I paint quite a lot)...hmmm, what to do.
Anyway, I'm throwing myself on the wave (direct translation of Norwegian expression there, don't know if that works but...) Congratulations Florence! Have a great time planning your wedding!

lol, yeah, I'm usually inspired when I'm frustrated or sad, that's why I haven't written anything new in 10 days.. lol. I would love to be able to paint, I used to draw a lot, but because of my "throw away everything you do" complex, I have only one of my drawings, lol. My motor skills aren't good enough as to actually hold a paintbrush without dropping it, but I would love to paint... maybe one day when I stop being so clumsy...

lol:) being able to paint or draw is all about practice. I never throw away my paintings, but I hardly ever finish them either. They look finished to everyone else, but I never feel quite satisfied about them, I always see things I'd like to change or something like that. I guess it's like that with writing for you guys, huh?

Have you set a date yet Florence? My law degree is going ok I guess, I'm trying to put some more effort in this semester and give it a proper chance, but it's still so much work. That sounds so exciting about playing in festivals and things! I'm so jealous I wish I could sing. I don't paint or draw very much either. Writing is a form of expression for me, but I can generally only get into it properly when life's not too hectic and I don't have too many assignments. I'm not in the right frame of mind for writing if I have a lot of study to do Which is why I haven't written anything for awhile, life has been to hectic to be in that frame of mind.

I don't throw them out but I'm quite critical of nearly all of my fictional writing, it always seems trite to me when I read it back. I always end up throwing out diaries because I hate reading back on them and remembering fights and heartache and unhappiness. I find if I'm writing in a diary it's generally when I'm unhappy so then when I read it back it's a collection of every time I've been unhappy that year and I seem like an incredibly depressed person! It's the same for me, I've tried to write in a diary for years since I've learn to write but it was a very depressing diary and then I stopped. I used to write in a diary with my best friend about 7 years ago(until I moved home). We used to write in one another and alternatively, it finally sounds like we carried on a sort of correspondence and it is absolutely funny to read it back now!

Thanks everyone for your congretulations! The date is going to be august 25. I already got a lot of things planned. Got my dress, location, church and photographer, rings and stuff. And Dominique: it was indeed exciting to play at festivals, but also very nervewrecking . On the one hand I thought that I was so blessed to be in the position to sing there, and on the other hand I sometimes wanted to run away real hard just before a gig when I saw the crowd I was going to face. And I know its hard stuyding law, so here's a speciall cheer for you: GOOOOO DOMINIQUE!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!! (sorry for shouting everyone
