jailbird by kurt vonnegut better book then i thought. i do not enjoy readig political book/essays, but this was different. it added a human element to it. i look at people a bit differently - especially old women with lots of shopping bags. ha.

Women in Love D.H. Lawrence this morning I just sat down and started reading, so I've finally finished it! I liked it, although I couldn't really feel for the characters, because they get angry for no reason etc. but it was very well written, one chapter was kind of boring, so I skipped that part

I nished Mansfield Park not even a minute ago. And I really enjoyed it. The best of Austen's novels that would make a good soap opera today (although I would be angry if it was demeaned to such a portrayal).

LOTS OF S-E-X! But D.H Lawrence writes so well! It's really amazing I like that he didn't described what they did while.. doing it.. because thats what dutch writers do... and that reads like.. porn.. well, what I think porn would be like!

We read it for the bookclub discussion some months ago and, from what I remember, many of us really liked it.
