i don't think there was a thread for french literature..? so, what have you all read? so, I've read (I think) two for french class, and I completely hat emyself because I can't remember them!! There was one with (I'm sure) a title like le diable mon coeur, but I can't find it if I google it.. and there was another one where I can only find the notes I made while reading it, but I have no idea what it's called... it's really annoying.. I can't even find the summary's I had to made for class..

Do you mean Radiguet's Le Diable au Corps? That's an awesome novel! In general, I prefer English literature but I've read quite a few books in French as well.

Memoirs of a Dutiful Daughter by Simone de Beauvoir is the English translation of a french work, it's quite good for the most part.
