Ok I just read a review for this in my new york times email newsletter and I really, really want it. But it's only available in Australia for $40 something Anyway I just thought I'd share in case anyone else is interested, it's set in Cuba during the late 1950's and it's about a reporter working there at the time. I can't explain it very well other than that but here's the link: www.nytimes.com/2007/02/18/books/review/Lewis.t.html?_r=1&8bu&emc=bu&oref=slogin

Thanks for the link Dom, next time I put in an order I think it'll be in my shopping cart Ever since I spent a week in Havana I've been trying to read books and watch movies set in Cuba but there aren't that many of those around, for obvious reasons.

Wow, sounds really interesting. I could get the book for 22 euros but I´d get about 20 used books for the price. I guess I´ll have to wait for my birthday, or the library to buy it.
