Ok so I saw this article today and I know a lot of people are fans of the God of Small Things by Roy, a booker prize winning novel which was written about 10 years ago. Since then she's been writing mainly non-fiction but is planning a return to fiction with a new book, which she's very tight lipped about. The God of Small Things is next on my to be read pile (after Angela's Ashes) and I can't wait to read it. Here's the article for anyone who's interested: www.smh.com.au/news/books/arundhati-roy-returns-to-fiction/2007/02/14/1171405273247.html

Yeah, I haven´t either. 11 euros isn´t much but I rarely buy new books because I could get 10 used books for that. I should save some money for her essays though.

Interesting article. I guess she´s right when she says that peaceful movements can be brushed aside more easily but you have to be very careful with calling for violence like that.
