Does anyone of you read bio-fiction, or fictional biography? If so, what do you think of it, and what have you read? I wrote and read a lot about it for my master's thesis, and I find the genre interesting, especially if I like/know the person written about, but at the same time it's something about it that makes me a bit uneasy. Would love to hear your thoughts, though!

That sounds very interesting, Hanna. I am currently trying to find a topic for my thesis in American literature which I'm going to write in October/ November 2013. Have you got any recommendations? I'd love to read some biographical fiction before taking a decision.

My first meet with bio-fiction was The Master by Colm Toibin, which is about Henry James - I would recommend that one! Henry James is obviously a popular man to write about in bio-fiction, in the past 10 years at least 12 novels with him as one of the main characters have been published!

Oh, I read that for a class this year! Also Arthur & George by Julian Barnes, which can also be seen as bio-fiction. I think it's a very interesting genre!
