I'd have to go with Elizabeth Bennett too. I found myself so many times in this character it was sometimes a little creepy, but also epiphanylike.

I'm one of the Anne Shirley's. Even more so when I was a kid. A great imagination, and a talent for getting in trouble without even trying to! I'm still a lot like Anne, I think, but Gilbert Blake hasn't showed up yet;)

maybe you're like Anne in that you have found him, and haven't admitted it to yourself yet! Remember her whole stage of denial?

Maybe he just sucks at searching;) I thought you'd like that quote: "Someday your prince charming will come. Mine just took a wrong turn, got lost, and is too stubborn to ask for directions."

Lena and Bridget from the book 'The sisterhood of the traveling pants' by Anne Brashares.Lena because most of the time I'm really quiet and shy.Bridget because I can be very suprisingly sporty and not so shy anymore. I haven't read the book in a long time but I know that I identifed me the most with these characters. And last but not least: Blair Waldorf from the Gossip Girl serie. I'm not that good looking, but Blair kind of messes everything up in the book and she is a romantic and everything has to go like her way. That's also just so tipically for me ...

Anne Shirley (of Anne of Green Gables) is one of the characters I immediately identified with as a child. First because of her red hair (!), but also for her tendency to get into trouble and to sometimes say or do the wrong thing . Also, I think I share her enthusiasm for life in general and her wild imagination as well as her passion for learning, among other things. Silly me but I've only just realized that one of my middle names is Anne, just like Anne Shirley!

There is a lot of Anne Shirley in me. But I find that if I really make a connection to a character I take a part of them with me anyways.

It's kinda embarrasing, but to be honest I saw a lot of myself in the character in Dorothy Parker's short story The Telephone Call...lol
