Post your suggestions for the next classic novel to be discussed!
I'll start with:
All Quiet on the Western Front, by Erich Maria Remarque Winesburg, Ohio, by Sherwood Anderson

I don't think I'm going to be able to participate so I'd better not suggest anything.

how does the book club functions exactly? do you choose a book, read it and then create a topic discussing about it?

Yes, we pick a book, post a reading schedule and discuss the novel in parts. We usually alternate between classic and contemporary novels.

Have we read anything by Anne Bronte yet? If not, I'd like to suggest The Tenant of Wildfell Hall or Agnes Grey.

I've already read Agnes Grey, so my vote would go to The Tenant of Wildfell Hall

I would vote for All Quiet on the Western Front, but depending on when the discussion is, I might not be able to really participate. October looks very full to me, but I realize it's only the beginning, so who knows...

I've already read Agnes Grey, so my vote would go to The Tenant of Wildfell Hall Same for me Last time we voted Wuthering Heights got a 23% so I'd suggest it. Also The adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn sound good to me. I really want to partecipate in the discussion this time!
