I'm not sure if we have a thread on this, but what is your favorite book series to read?
I love Janet Evanovich, Harry Potter, and so far i'm loving a "Great and Terrible Beauty" by Libba Bray. I also read a few Terry Brooks novels, from the Magical Kingdom of landover, and I liked them. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is also a great read. Shopoholic series are good, the last was wasen't that great.

Lord of the Rings and The Wheel of Time for fantasy. As a kid I loved (I actually still do) Anne of Green Gables an Pollyanna. And then I have to say all the series written by Norwegian author Anne Cath Vestly or Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. They are so amazing, and if I ever have children I'll introduce them to these series. ;D

to be honest I haven't read many series, only when I was younger and read young adult fiction, but I can't actually remember most of it. I know I liked The Saddle Club (the tv show totally ruined it) and Thoroughbreds (I went through a horse phase). Now I like the Phillipa Greogory english royal family books, which are kind of a series. I'm looking at reading Lian Hearn's series, the one with across the nighting gale floor in it.

I know I liked The Saddle Club (the tv show totally ruined it) and Thoroughbreds (I went through a horse phase). Me too! I still ride (off and on atm) so I guess it wasn't a phase for me but I love both of those series. I still have my little collection of Thoroughbred books (which they are STILL writing!) and the adjoining Ashleigh series. I had a ton of Saddle Club that I had inherited from a babysitter but I gave those and most of my model horses away. The only series I have consistantly read is Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. When the latest comes out in paperback I'll probably pick it up! Oh and I also have the Shopaholic series and about four of the Georgia Nicholson series.

Most of the series that I love are young adult or kids. I'd love to find an adult series that I love too, but haven't yet. I want to read The Eyre Affair books though, so maybe those books soon.
Harry Potter Besty Tacy Tib books by Maud Hart Lovelace Betsy books by Caroline Haywood Alice books by Phylis Reynolds Naylor Anastasia books by Lois Lowry Ramona books by Beverly Cleary Wayside School books by Louis Sachar

It was only a phase for me because it's practically impossible for me to go riding, more than on an hour long trial ride once every couple of months. I guess because I can't do it on a regular basis it's easy to forget about it

I enjoyed Astrid Lindgren´s books and Enid Blyton´s when I was a child. I also read the Stephanie Plum novels, Thursday Next, Harry Potter, a series of unfortunate events and I´m trying to read some of the Narnia chronicles.

My favorite series is definately A Great and Terrible Beauty Trilogy as well as obviously Harry Potter. When i was younger i used to read almost all the Baby-Sitters Club Books as well as the All American Girl books. I think that's where i got my passion for history
