;D I always get the urge to watch it around Christmas time!
Yesterday I saw "Welcome", a French movie about Kurds immigrants who get stuck in Calais (France) on their way to England. It's not based on real events, but it is based on a real situation (people in Calais can be arrested if they're seen helping an illegal immigrant). It was incredibly sad and moving, but beautiful at the same time.

I saw New Moon yesterday. I have to say that I liked it! I hated Twilight, it was a disappointment for me. Now I didn't expect too much of it and yeah, shirtless (and hairless) Taylor Lautner is kinda hot

I saw Twilight: New Moon last week. Did not like it, but then again I'm not a fan of the series, I was just dragged there by a friend. The shirtless boys made it bearable... Then watched 2012. It was bad and totally predictable, I hated that they give neutrinos a bad rep because they are my favourite elementary particles. On Monday I saw Paranormal Activity. I was prepared to be really scared but I wasn't. This will sound odd, but for the most part it was more like a romantic comedy than a thriller. The last five minutes were scary though...

I didn't mind New Moon. It was okay. But Twilight was okay too. Usually I have three categories of movies: 1) I'll buy it for myself I like it so much, 2) I'll ask for it as a gift (so I don't really care if I get it), and 3) I wouldn't even ask for it because I don't like it. But Twilight and New Moon fit in a weird place between 2 & 3. I wouldn't ask for it, but I don't dislike it either. I guess they're just a class all their own lol

I saw New Moon too a few days ago, I liked it. It went for longer than I expected though. When Taylor ripped his shirt off to apply it to Bella's headwound the entire audience cracked up laughing. I also recently saw A Place in the Sun starring Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Cliff, which I enjoyed.

I had a small Christmas party with my friend yesterday. We baked cookies and watched some movies. Shrek the halls, it was funny. Niko, way to the stars. A finnish animation, quite qute. The Unknown soldier. Had to watch it on the Independence day of course.

Millenium, based on the novel by Stieg Larsson. It was alright for an action flick, they changed a few things but not too many and for the most part I thought they got the casting right.
The Changeling by Clint Eastwood, starring Angelina Jolie. It was excellent! I'm not a big fan of Ms. Jolie but in that movie she was amazing, and the story is incredibly gripping.

Uptown Girls, with Brittany Murphy and Dakota Fanning. It was pretty cute. So was Jesse Spencer ;-)
