*sigh* I had to give War & Peace back to the library! And not because I wanted to, but because I wasn't allowed to rent it again. (I guess 3 times in a row is the max?) So I wrote down on which page I was left and will try it again in a few days.

I also had to renew the novel I'm reading right now (Loving Frank), I hope I can manage to finish it before I need to bring it back! It's not that great though, kinda slow moving, but still interesting since it's based on true facts (the relationship between American architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his mistress).

I really liked a big chunk in the middle. I'm a little bored again by all the "war" talk, but I feel invested in the characters now and I really want to know how it all turns out.

I've sadly only read 1 chapter of For Whom The Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway. I'm hoping to read a lot more tomorrow.

Not that far, but I had progressed a bit. I had a newer version though, they went back to the original ending (?) and it's supposed to be shorter. so I don't think mine had 1396 pages! I just checked online, the book I was reading has 967 pages.

Wow, that's a bog difference in the amount of pages. How different are they?

My edition of the War and Peace has 964 pages. I'm currently halfway through The Princess Diaries VIII : After Eight by Meg Cabot. The first half of the book went really quickly, about an hour. I've recently read some really hard and deep books, so this is with its lightness and easiness (btw. these two words do not exist, then consider them my own creation, in other words, I was too lazy to check them) a good change. Edit. I don't know how to write 8 with roman numbers.

I am still reading Atonement. It's not as good as I thought it would be (I hate Briony), but I keep slogging through because I want to know what happens to Robbie et al.

I tried to read it, when it was the book club book, but I just couldn't get through. I had a really bad edition and the print was impossible to read.
