You bought the short story by Annie Proulx? Is it good? I saw it at the store but it was something like $12 and that seemed a bit expensive for something that short.

it was okay, but you may as well buy the movie because it's really close to the story..and there are hot guys in it and it's not that much more expensive than the book

I'm gonna try to get it from the library, they seem to have a copy of her collection "Close Range, Wyoming Stories" and I think Brokeback Mountain is part of it.

i haven't read of the any other stories by her, but i'd imagine they're prolly just as good

The only thing I've ever read by Annie Proulx was "The Shipping News". I liked it, it was great to read a story set in Newfoundland, but it was quite depressing and I thought there were too many boat-related details.

I hate stuff with details about boats because I have no idea what they're talking about. I understand starboard is right and port is left. That's about it...
