"Ni d'Eve, Ni d'Adam" by Amelie Nothomb, it was such a fun read! And a great way to learn about Japanese culture at the same time. Glad you liked Ni d'Eve, Ni d'Adam, Isa! I really enjoyed it too.

I finished The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. It's a very sad story of a dog and loyalty, I surprisingly liked it a lot!

Finished Slaugtherhouse Five before I went to sleep last night, and I liked it a lot. I liked how he combined the stories from different times in flashes in a way.

And speaking of Vonnegut, I finished "Mother Night" yesterday, it was brilliant!

Finished Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. Wow, I loved this book. Such amazing descriptions of Chinese culture, even though it was a pretty sad story.

I had a lot of waiting room time today, so I finished The Metamorphosis and Other Stories by Franz Kafka.

I had a lot of waiting room time today, so I finished The Metamorphosis and Other Stories by Franz Kafka. Did you like it? I had to read it for uni last semester and it really got me into Kafka. I finished On the road by Jack Kerouac yesterday and I enjoyed it. I think it got better in the second half or so.

Let the Right One In (Swedish: Låt den rätte komma in) - John Ajvide Lindqvist
It's a great modern day horror story, also a great film.
Also just finished up The Stepford Wives.

I finished reading Forever Mine by Elizabeth Reyes. It is a really good book. I could not put it down. A real page turner so intense. I highly recommend it

Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. And speaking of Vonnegut, I finished "Mother Night" yesterday, it was brilliant! I really want to read those books! I recently finished an audiobook: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which I liked, I hadn't listened to an audiobook since I was a kid and it was fun. I also finished Logicomix by Apostolos Doxiadis and Christos Papadimitriou, a graphic novel about the quest for the foundations of Mathematics, I really enjoyed it! Some parts show the creators of Logicomix talking about the meaning of the story they're working on, I found those parts very interesting.

I just finished Cold Comfort Farm. A good short read. It was very tongue-in-cheek, which I loved.
