Soulless by Gail Carriger, it was really fun to read! Made me laugh.

I finished French Milk by Lucy Knisley. It's a graphic diary of her month long holiday in Paris with her mother, sort of in a comic book style with a few photos. It was a quick read and pretty enjoyable.

I reread "On Chesil Beach" by McEwan within 24 hours. It was great (again).

I finished Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys. It was okay, but nothing special.

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Cute story! I'd really like to read that one day. Finished The Passage by Justin Cronin yesterday, which is good since it's overdue at the library. Trying to decide what I'm in the mood for next now.

I just finished "The Graduate", it was a quick and easy read. I really enjoyed it, the dialogues read really well, and I liked Charles Webb's take on the post-graduation breakdown.

I just finished Cherished by Rachel Gardner. I realize that it is mostly a book for teenage girls, but I enjoyed reading it anyway. To sound cheesy; it kind of made me feel cherished.

I finished The Chrysalids by John Wyndham, it was very interesting from an analytical perspective, and also a very engaging story. I really enjoyed it but The Day of the Triffids still has the most special place in my heart.

I just finished The Sonnets by Shakespeare. I think it was a bit much to read just his Sonnets, but now it's done. I kept hearing Lorelai and Rory in my head while reading though, when they were practising for the Shakespeare test in season 1

I recently finished Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I liked it, although I hadn't been sure I would ever read any other novel by Garcia Marquez. But this one was certainly better than Love in the Time of Cholera. Does Florentino Ariza really have to be so miserable for 50 years? Go on with your life, man.
