The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon. Finally! But it was well worth it. Just make sure you're in the mood for an epic novel.

I just finished "I, Robot" by Isaac Asimov. It was the best sci fi I've ever read. Really sophisticated.

Hokkaido Highway Blues by Will Ferguson. I really enjoyed it. Ferguson hitchhikes across the length of Japan following the cherry blossums. He didn't go to the most popular tourist spots like Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima but went to heaps of cities and towns I knew nothing about. There were lots of little tidbits about Japan that I didn't already know as well which was cool.

I recently finished The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman (I enjoyed it but not as much as Northern Lights) and Jane Austen's Letters, I really liked it, it's a great edition!
