How do you find books you like to read...do you get reccommendations from friends, do you look for authors you have read recently and liked? Do you research online, maybe you do a combination:-) I like to read books mostly that other people have reccommended to me, I have a tendency to feel if Ive been told a book is good by a friend to feel confident reading it.

Usually from this forum or from browsing amazon/chapters. Or books by authors i've already read. I very rarely get book recommendations from friends (im usually the one recommending) but when I do, I like to check out the books.

Recently I have found that the early reviewer lists on librarything make my TBR list increase dramatically! Some of the books haven't come out yet on the current list, but they have las month's list up as well. Plus, it makes sure I am in the loop for all the new good books that are going to come out soon.

From this forum or browsing amazon. Also, profs in my english courses tend to mention lots of books in lectures and I jot those down in the margins of my notes to look up later if they sound interesting.

Mostly from Rory's Book Club but also browsing the website of my favorite bookstore, and sometimes I get recommendations from friends or my cousin.

Mainly from on here But also I will often enjoy one book and then systematically read most of the books by the same author. Also I often like to read the book of a movie before it comes out. My friends often lend me books I've never heard of as well which has expanded the types of books I read. Also check out our vox thread because you can get some good recs from reading people's blogs

Mostly from browsing the internet, Rory's Book Club and just spending (way too much) time looking around in bookstores and the library. Wait, can you spend too much time in a bookstore?! ;D
