The original copy of CoMC that I have is abridged and in a paperback--it's about half the number of pages that are in my new edition. I know my new edition is unabridged. The font is definitely bigger though. When I go home, I'll look and see if I can't find what font & size they use. Books usually have that information towards the beginning. Pilleriin, is your copy in English? If it's not, that could also account for difference in page numbers Oh, yeah. Mine is in Estonian, Didn't realize that.

The complete Sherlock Holmes, 1122 pages. Thin paper, small font. But it's nice to know that I have plenty to read.

It's not a novel but my Norton Anthology of English Lit clocks in at 2879 pages!

I have a gigantic book that had everything Shakespeare's written in it. I think its along the lines of 2000-3000 pages long, I don't know though because it doesn't give you page numbers.

I have The Complete Shakespeare which is 1754 pages in a tiny font. Great reading though.

"Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace is probably one of the longest novels I own. That and "War & Peace" by Tolstoy.
The longest book overall would probably be my big "Compact" Oxford English Dictionary which clocks in at 2424 pages. (But that's nothing. The complete (20-volume set) OED (which I don't have because it costs thousands) is over 22,000 pages long.)
