I finally had the opportunity to go to a musical, and it was pretty disappointing. For the summer school program I'm helping with, we went to watch High School Musical at a theater an hour or so from where we live. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a fan....

You made it sound like it was your first musical, was it? If so, don't despair. There are much, much better musicals out there than High School Musical! If you ever have an opportunity to see a musical on Broadway or the West End, you will be amazed and your mind will be changed

A month ago my school took us on a field trip to New York to see Wicked. But other then that I've seen The Lion King with my dad in New York as well.

It's just been awhile since I've been to one (other than campus productions). I was just disappointed because I know that there were other children productions put on throughout the year that would have been much more enjoyable (Cinderella, Pinocchio). Even the kids we took (1st through 6th grade) didn't enjoy HSM very much.

One of the parks I live near does yearly musicals and this year's musical is HSM. Me and my aunt usually see them but I'm not sure about it this year. And if you're wondering, the actors and actresses are actually very good. My favorite musical that I ever saw has to be Wicked. I saw it in NYC for a school trip and I just love it!

I just saw Wicked last night! My sister is super nice and bought me tickets for my b-day, so my mommy and I went to Wichita to see it. (My sis saw it in Denver.)
All I have to say is...
Wicked-ly Oz-some! I didn't want it to end!

Yesterday I saw "singin in the rain" with Tim Flavin. The performance was great and Tim Flavin was upsolutely amazing. What i loved the most was that he sang singin in the rain (the song) in greek! [if there is any greek speaker the lyrics were "tragoudo sti vrochi, chara magiki..."] of course he sang not the whole thing but a very big part of the song. People whose english is not their maternal language can understand why hearing an artist doing that moved me- it actually remembered me Roberto Benigni last May who did exactly the same (of course he didn't sing but speak but he was very sweet too). The fact that "singin in the rain" is my favourite musical maybe play a part for this positive review but the truth is that since yesterday I haven't stop singing

My parents and I went to see It's a Wonderful Life last night--the radio production play. It was utterly amazing. I was in awe of how the actors never confused which voice they were supposed to be speaking in even though the play moved at a fast pace and some of them had to be two characters, one right after the other.

I went to see Spring Awakening a couple of weekends ago, it was pretty good. Next month my grandma and I are going to go see Wicked. I've been wanting to see it for so long and am really excited!
