From the chapters that I've read, I think Midnight Sun is a great complement to Twilight - as greengirlpenguin said, it's almost like rereading Twilight, only even better! I love how bits and pieces of the story come together, like that time when Bella opened her window for the first time in Twilight and was suprised to see how easily it slid even though it had not been open for a long time - then in Midnight Sun we find out that it's because Edward had brought oil during one of his early visits ;D

I've read about half of it, I save it for reading during down times at work lol. It is better than I thought it would be, they've managed to add enough different little things we didn't know about in the first one for it to still be interesting. I still would have just preferred another consecutive one in the Twilight series though.

Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer (draft copy on her website) What did you think Dom? (or maybe post your reply in the Midnight Sun thread) It wasn't bad, at times I enjoyed it, at times I got a little bored with it. I liked that Meyer added a bit of a subplot about that guy who tried to attack Bella when she was out with Jessica and Angela. I would have liked a bit more on that, and a few more surprises. Which makes me a bit sad because Meyer might have come up with more surprises for it before completing it but now we will never know.
