I just started Marrying Anita - a memoir of an Indian American woman who goes back to India to get married. It's interesting and good so far.

Adrian Mole - The Cappuccino years. It's a bit dissapointing so far, the other books were a lot funnier!

I kept trying new books and couldn't get into anything. So I gave in and started New Moon and I'm hooked again already. I was trying to spread them out a little to make them last longer....but oh well.

I started A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseni last night. I really got into it and accidentally stayed up till midnight reading. I think I'm enjoying it more than Kite Runner so far.

I'm now reading The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve having recently finished reading The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler. I only have 100 pages left to read, even though I only started reading it yesterday; it's difficult to put down because it's very emotionally gripping. Like you Dom, I stayed up late reading my book. I didn't realize what time it was until I glanced at the clock in my room and saw that it was nearly 2 in the morning; I had to work at 7:30 this morning. I suppose that's one of the hazards of reading. lol

I'm reading Lullabies for Little Criminals by Heather O'Neil. The writing is gorgeous, I love the way the author makes the mundane sound beautiful. I would highly recommend this book.

I'm reading My First Year as a Teacher. Its a collection of essays from teachers describing their first year. And I'm reading it because I went into a panic wondering if I'm doing the right thing not majoring in Business.

I'm reading Northanger Abbey in Estonian, I thought that it's good to read it English too, so I'll read NA in Estonian first, then in English. I hope that this way it's easier to understand NA in English.
