I like to read in bed too, but I agree with emily that I get tired too quickly! I read a lot on buses/cars though.

I love to read in bed or on the couch. I also like reading on the balcony when it's nice outside, or on long-distance trips (bus, train, plane). I'm not a huge fan of reading at the beach - too many distractions and the wind can be quite unpleasant - or when there's too much noise around. Oh, and I don't really like reading while taking a bath although I see people do that in movies all the time! Oh yea! I was in Bulgaria a month ago and I just couldn't read at the beach. It was awful! The wind and flying sand! And I can't read in a bath too..

I tend to fall asleep when I read in bed, so I try and read when I'm on the couch or on the train. Also, reading in bookshops is nice.

Katelyn, your location sounds awesome...
I like reading in bed, or in a comfortable chair. I'm crocheting a star-shaped blanket to cuddle up into when I read. I cannot read in the bath at all, because I like my water hot, and I get really sleepy because of that.

I can't read in a car or bus because it makes me feel sick. I love to read in bed or laying on the couch. Also, I LOVE to read in the hammock at my cottage. It's under these huge pine trees, so it is shaded, but not too dark and you can swing in the breeze...I LOVE IT. But I only go there once a year.
I do have to read in the quiet. If the book is absolutely enthralling, sometimes I can block out the outside noise, but the TV or music with words distracts me while I read.

We are moving a wole bunch of stuff around our house, so I moved my popason chair downstairs where we used to have a couch. It's my new favorite place to read. It's sooo comfy! We had a hammock in our backyard but It got old. In the summer I would always read there, especially my school summer reading. It made it a little more enjoyable. We didn't buy a new one for this summer though

I like reading the most when I'm either in my bed or on the couch. I cannot however read in cars (car sick).
