Yesss. I read that book in junior high or high school. About a boxer on the come-up, I thought it was a great book. I totally forgot about it until I saw this post.

I really liked how Gabriel managed to organize his life but I haven´t read buddha of surburbia yet, so I can´t compare. It´s on my birthday list Haven´t read Barometer Rising but it sounds really interesting. N.P. by Banana Yoshimoto.

To Jefie: "The Little Girl who was Too Fond of Matches" wasnt on the school syllabus or anything, they just carried it in the library at the request of one of my teachers, who recommended i read it. It was really good; i'm still in awe of it actually.
