I quickly get overwhelmed when I think of all the reading I want to do! But then I just have to sit back and remember... I have the rest of my life. I don't need to read ALL of these this year!  it's the same for me, there are so many books I want to read! |

In episode Help Wanted in the second season, Lorelai gives Rory The Little Locksmith to cheer her up. By the way, did anyone read it or hear anything about this book? I have it, but I haven't gotten to read it yet. Here's what it says on the back: "Katharine Butler Hathaway was the kind of heroine whose deeds are rarely chronicled.She took a life which fate had cast in the mold of a frightful tragedy and redesigned it into a quiet, modest work of art. Wow that list was helpful. Now it's going to be a goal of mine to read them all before I turn 22 like she was when the show ended. Then, I'd be caught up to her with reading. I think I can do it though.
EDIT: Can anybody post these in order by episode because right now, they aren't in that order. I want a more organized want a more organized way to see the list.

Actually, there's a member on Shelfari (aptly named Rory Gilmore  ) who's already done this. I don't know if you can see her shelf unless you're a member, but her shelf is just books from the show, tagged by episode. For example 01x11 is season 1, episode 11, contains New Poems of Emily Dickinson and Swann's Way. It's noted that Swann's Way was mentioned by Rory, Lorelai, and another character ("misc."). awhile ago i copy and pasted the list from here onto microsoft word and printed it out then went out and bought a nice little white binder and put it in there. everytime i read one of the books i cross it out, i also made a sick cover page for the binder haha. im just a wee bit obsessive about gilmore girls

Wow, I sort of did the same thing. I have copied a few different lists onto Microsoft Word. I have to wait for my dad to get my computer hooked up to a printer though. I'm just as obsessed as you with the show.  Also, there's another list of books organized by episode on a site that was mentioned here already, but not on this specific thread. rorysbookclub.webs.com/booksseenormentioned.htmIt's a pretty helpful site. Your welcome. It's the first site that I've seen where they have all of the books from every episode besides this one. But on there, it is more organized so it's easier to use. I'm going to read those in the order they're listed. It seems like the smartest way to get through it.

There actually is a webpage version of the list organised by episode in progress for the site, I started it a few months back but haven't had the time to complete it yet.
