LOVE the biggest loser! Although I usually feel really bad while watching it, because it's usually when I'm eating dinner! Not a good thing.... I go to the gym with my sister-in-law. She's a freak of nature when it comes to exercising (I'd rather be pulling my nails off than getting sweaty!). She tells me, "Oh, we have something fun to try today!" Which really means 1 of 2 things: 1) I found this new tip online and want a guinea pig to try it out on or 2) It was a challenge on the biggest loser so let's try it out! Neither of which are fun, nor are they easy! The other week we tried the challenge where we put the treadmills up to a 12% incline, then walked on them backwards at 2.0mph. Freakishly hard. When you watch the challenges on TV you know they're hard, but you have no idea how hard they really are until you actually try them! Yesterday, she had this "brilliant" idea to do the stairmill - like walking up an escalator. We did 30 or so stories at a very fast pace. Seriously, I thought I was going to die. Torture. And the biggest loser contestants are running up 100 story buildings! Craziness!! Yes, I love the biggest loser...but hate it when my sister-in-law watches it

I'm so-so about the Biggest Loser. I get home at 7:00pm on Sundays and the Biggest Loser is on tv while we eat dinner (all the other shows on tv at that time are worse than the biggest loser) so it puts me off a little. The concept of it is a little extreme, from what I hear the contestants basically go cold turkey on their normal eating/exercising patterns. But it's transformed people's lives.
Lately I've grown accustomed to hour walks on the treadmill everyday. It keeps me sane haha

I think it can be sometimes... like the endorphins make you less hungry or something at times. Also as you eat less your stomach capacity supposedly shrinks so you gradually need less to become full.

She seems really funny! Are you referring to my sister-in-law? One day at the gym with her and you would no longer be laughing my friend! ;D

Yes I am! And I'm sure that I wouldn't be laughing after going to the gym with her, but I'm not going to the gym with her, so I can laugh... Sorry.. I really feel sorry for you, but at least you are in good shape..

Oh no - hardly!!!! I've got 60 extra pounds on me that I'm fighting to lose. It's just stuck on me and does NOT want to come off! I'd even be happy with 30 of it coming off Hopefully by the end of summer...... that's my wish.

I've never gotten into the loose weight shows. I've watched a view episodes on rerun of Celebrity Fit Club, but in general I don't like makeover reality tv. There's this really great website that has these exercise workouts that you can watch and copy. I plug my laptop into my tv and do them that way, but I think once you get the hang of it you don't need to watch the person doing them with you: www.exercisetv.tvI did this one ten minute video on there, it's called like Summer Abs or something and at the time it seemed like a waste of time cause I definitely didn't fee lit, but the next day my sides hurt like no other. So I guess the trainers on there are pretty good?

I'll have to check that site out! I won't share it with my sister-in-law (she'll make me do an hour's worth - ha ha ha ha!) I do love her, did I mention that?
