Wow, that is so cool! I remember last time it was Olympics in Norway and they ran through our village with the torch it was a huge deal. Congrats to your nephew!

here's a random thought: I love this board! I have it as a start page on my computer, and everytime I go on the internet I start out here and it makes me happy, and helps me procrastinate from whatever I should be doing, but all in all, I love it:) So kudos to all of you hanging out here for hanging out here! I agree! Even if I don't have time to log in and post, I usually stop by once a day. We just received confirmation that my nephew is going to carry the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch next week wow that's great!!

I had a dream about a week ago that an old high school friend and her long-time boyfriend were going to get engaged. And about a week ago they did get engaged! How creepy is that?!
Do any of you guys ever have those sorts of dreams? I've had another one in the past, about my then boyfriend breaking up with me...which he did lol

Oh, that's weird Kristie! Also a bit creepy, but also kind of cool! As long as you're not going to start dreaming about the end of the world and stuff! I've never had that, but I usually don't remember my dreams very well...

I think it's kinda cool! I've actually had quite few dreams that have come to life for real. For example the night before I found out that I got into my dream school, I actually had a dream, how I'm attending that school! And I remember how I thought in the morning, that I hope I didn't jinx it

I just finished watching a show on Discovery Channel about how bull sharks are being found more often in fresh water. The whole show took place in Australia, but they said that they were found in the U.S. too, as far up in the Mississippi River as Missouri. The thought that sharks could be in rivers never crossed my mind. I'm a little leery about going canoeing now...

Yikes, sharks can be pretty scary... I have to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed! I am so not looking forward to that!

The painkillers help a lot though. I was still ready to eat non-mushy food though! Apparently it's a good time to go book shopping too: I guess I asked my mom if I could go to the bookstore afterward and ended up buying Wicked. I woke up the next day and asked where the book came from.

I asked myself why I do not use my real surname on RBC. So I changed my username to Sabine (apparently my real name :-) ).

It's kinda funny, most of us started out using a nickname and then we switched it to our real name. I guess this isn't the kind of forum where you feel like you'd better remain anonymous, everyone here is quite civilized ;D

I have to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed! I am so not looking forward to that! I had that done a few years ago, so I feel for ya. The painkillers help a lot though. I was still ready to eat non-mushy food though! Apparently it's a good time to go book shopping too: I guess I asked my mom if I could go to the bookstore afterward and ended up buying Wicked. I woke up the next day and asked where the book came from. I had one wisdom tooth taken out about 4 years ago, it was hurting so much that I was pretty glad to have it removed. I understand why you're not looking forward to that, Carma. Going book shopping afterward is a good suggestion I should have done that. Sharks are scary!

So, I've had a pretty bizarre day. Firstly, a creepy guy from our town promised to break Cho's (the school shooter, virginia tech) record. Luckily he isn't from our school, but still.. And then a teacher told us, that there has been bomb threats to TWO other schools!! That was definitely a WTF!! moment for me, really, what are they thinking!!! I'm just too confused!!

Whoa, what a day, Pilleriin! And good luck with your teeth, Carma! Congrats on your real name, Sabine! I guess I don´t feel like you´re all freaky sociopaths anymore either, or it´s a really deep cover Winter in Hamburg sucks! It´s rainy all the time and that´s so unfair when you´re wearing glasses!
