Today is my first day at a 4 week science program at Smith College. Smith is my first choice, and I'm so excited to be able to spend an entire month here. The first two weeks I'm studying the nervous system and the second two weeks I'm taking and English lit/writing class. So far I've just unpacked, and tonight we have a big meeting to go over all the procedures, etc.

Well today I had the doctors. And now I have to continue reading my history book for AP US History (the teacher is making us read all 1032 pages and take notes over the summer!) and I have to read a couple chapters in How to Read Literature like a Professeur for summer reading..its pretty good!

So today I have to clean my room cause I'm having relatives come visit and they're commandeering my room. Also, can I just say that 21st birthdays were invented to teach you to never drink at those epic proportions again??? I've never felt worse in my life, but I'm told I threw up with a smile, haha.

I'm relaxing now I've taken the first part of Structural Mechanics exam this morning and tomorrow I'll probably start studying for the second one...even if I don't know how the first went until Wednesday. I spent the last two weeks packing books at library (luckily there are only 6000 volumes!) and studying I'm so tired and I'm looking forward to the good sleep I'm going to have tonight!

We had a 4th of July picnic at Ben's parents house today. Now we're relaxing and reading before bed. This is our last day in Michigan. We're driving back to Florida tomorrow morning at 4am.

Have fun tonight! I found out today that I failed Structural Mechanics exam, I'll do better in September. The good thing is that I won't have to spend all next week studying 10 hours a day.

Sorry about your exam Lu... But you're right, at least you can get some rest and worry about it in a couple of months!
