I skipped class today. Trying to phsych myself into some exercise this morning. Then I might go to the beach and then visit my grandma. Then I'll work more on my graduate program applications later this afternoon and tonight.

I have to go enroll for my lit classes this morning and then head to work for awhile. My boss isn't going to be there, so it should be a super easy day. After that, I need to do some grocery shopping before the snow hits. I'll spend various moments throughout the rest of the evening/early morning worrying about Eric and the band. They have to travel to Kansas City for a show, so they'll be traveling wee hours in the morning when the storm is suppose to be at it's worst. They're all kinda hoping that they'll reschedule the gig, but it's not looking promising. The weather is suppose to be bad enough that they decided the girlfriends can't go, so we get to stay at home and worry instead.

Work, then I'm going over to my friend Julie's for dinner and we plan on watching "La môme", the movie about Edith Piaf. I've seen it once and couldn't stop crying at the end, we'll see how it goes tonight!

I've heard that movie is excellent! The English (subtitled) version is called "La Vie en Rose," for those who know it from it's Oscar win |

I already had two tests and I still have three left. I just love test weeks! So I should be studying right now. It's 10.15 am here so I can watch GG now and study later.  |

I'm going to this fancy dinner thing hosted by my school now. Kind of nervous, because it's for this international conference in Translation, and I've been just helping out, so that's why I'm invited to the dinner, but I don't know anyone, and I'm kind of scared of all the supersmart professors that's going to be there.... :S

Monday was my first day at university and it was really exciting and exhausting and funny and new at the same time. I am home again now since we have easter holidays till the 14th.
And Dom, there's a girl who just looks like you. I saw her and immediately new that she reminded me of someone, but I didn't know who and then I rembered this thread with those pictures of ourselves and I knew it was you. Funny, isn't it?

I took the day off work today to try and catch up on all my uni stuff. I'm going to spend the day working on an Intellectual Property essay on Google Book Search, what would likely happen if a suit was brought under Australian law and whether we should have any reform to deal with these sorts of matters. It's interesting but very, very fiddly.
