My family left last night so this morning it's just me and my cat, it's so quiet! But Syl should be home in about 3h, so round 2 of the Holidays will begin with a visit at my in-laws!

I'm studying today, I have a uni exam in 12 days.

I'm going to clean my house, cook something for the evening (31.12/01.01) and Celebrate New Year!

Today I went to work at a local used bookstore, I bought 5 new books, and I had lunch with my grandparents. Later today, I think I am going to read, re-organize my bookshelf, and study.

Watching movies. It's New Year's Eve here so I have all my friends bugging me to go out but I'm too sick. Oh well there was nothing too exciting on this year anyway so I'm not too disappointed.

Staying home and watching movies is fun though! I love bumming around the house.

Today I needed to buy new running shoes but I need to return them because one of them is messed up. And I spent too much money which is horrible.

I have to work this morning and then my friend and I will go shopping for the little get-together we're throwing tonight at my place, then we'll head downtown to celebrate the New Year at an 80s rock show!

I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I don't like big chaotic New Year's Eve parties (bad past experiences...) so I'm staying at home tonight, I think I will have a wonderful dinner (my mom's cooking risotto!) and watch a couple of movies. I usually tell my closer friends to feel free to join my very quiet version of a New Year's Eve party if they don't have anything of more exciting to do, I don't know if any of them will come this year.

I have had lots of invites to New Years Eve parties this evening but for some reason I just feel like a quiet one, I think I will stay in tonight and watch movies with my family, Tomorrow is my birthday and Im having a party so that might be enough for me for one day! Im sorry you are sick Dominique! Do you just have a bad cold??

I'm making dinner tonight (split pea soup and lime curd tart) and staying in to watch the ball drop.

I also have a driving lesson.

Nothing! My friend and I came back home really late last night so we plan on resting up, maybe watch a few DVDs and have a lazy, crazy, hazy day

I'm spending the day reading and watching the outdoor hockey game (Go Wings!) since I can't watch my wolverines in a bowl game this new year's day.

I'm going with my sister to see Twilight, again, haha. Then we are celebrating my birthday late, so I can finally open my presents and have my cake.
