I have to read this book for my history and theory of script class. Has anyone read it? What did you think? I´ve only read the apology for philosophy before.

Okay, I´ll take that as a no ;D . My professor lets us choose between two versions but one is 5 euro and the other about 50 euro! I don´t think anyone has that much money to spend on one book.

I read/ translated only excerpts at school when I used to learn Ancient Greek. Do you have to read it in German or English? There are some hmtl versions in English floating around, so you can save your 5 Euros. It's typical Platon style.. quite nice to read.

Thanks, that´s good to know. It´s for one of my German lit classes so I´ll have buy the German version. But I guess 5 euros for Platon is very much okay. Hey, you´re from Austria . What part do you live in? Been there once to ski. Very typical tourist stuff!

Is the 5 Euro version the Reclam-Ausgabe? I live in St. Poelten, capital city of Lower Austria, just 60 km west of Vienna. It's rather flat here, so no skiing, but the shopping is better much better than in the mountain region! Where exactly do you live?

Yup, cheap paper and tiny writing and ugly cover has to be Reclam I live in Düsseldorf since the end of summer, had to move for uni. I´m not too talented at skiing so shopping is way more important. Yay, you get to visit all the amazing cultural places in Vienna!
