I've read some of "Roughing it in the Bush" (which I just call "Roughing It" because it sounds less dirty, and some of "Life in the Clearing". I definitely like Susanna Moodie better.

Does she? I guess I'll have to look that up too. Though I'm not really a big fan of Margaret Atwood.

I love Margaret Atwood. Margaret Atwood is my literary idol. Anyone who does/doesn't liker her should check out her short story anthologies. They are amazing. Particularly Good Bones and The Tent. A lot of the time they are shadowed by her books and forgotten about, but when you read them you can see just how talented she is. She can say so many things and strike so many chords within people in a tiny tiny space. I can really relate to a lot of her writing, and often I find her lines are ones that stick with me.

I love Margaret Atwood. Well, some books more than others, but generally I enjoy her work a lot.
At the moment I'm reading The Historian

So far so good! I was afraid it was going to be one of those overhyped things where your expectations are so high that it turns out to be a disappointment, but this is living up to the praise so far. It's actually really creepy and I'm not that easy to scare!

I'm right in the middle of "Helen of Troy" by Margaret George. It's alright. My biggest problem is that it's so long, and I don't think it needs to be.
