I miss them too, and I only saw the last episode last night! (I have to download them because they don't air here). I think it's sad, I would have liked to see more of Rory as a reporter etc. The Luke and Lorelai back together thing seemed to happen really fast too.

thats right, i didnt realize you dont get to see the eposides when i do. yeah the last one i felt was a good eposide, but i would have liked anonther season to see rory are a reporter, suki with the babi, zack with the new band and lorali with luke.
about two weeks before i saw the last eposide, lauren gahram (lorali) was on ellen. she said they didnt offically have a last eposide, the decieded on not coming back the following season after the last show was filmed. so it really wasnt meant for a last eposide. she also said everyone was okay with the show ending, so they can move on to other things.
i want to know what happened with logan! how could a relationship end lke that? it didnt seem realistic

I feel the same way as you guys. Though to be honest, the show lost a bit of its drive and quick witt with the palladinos leaving the show. So it wasn't quite right the whole last season. Though they were still there and kind of still the same. I really would have liked to see Lor and Luke geht back together, be back together and settle down, and this time for real, without little, unnecessary children coming in the way.
And, I don't know, it's hard how they left things between Logan and Rory, but actually I can understand both sides. If I was Logan I would have at least tried to make it work at first and not throwing all away just at the beginning. But this is his character, Logan wants all, and he wants all now. So he was too hurt when Rory said she couldn't do it. That she didn't change that much that she really would fit in his family. If you know what I mean. Kind of like, I have changed for you, a lot, so do a little something for me here too. Though I'm totally with Rory on that one. How could she just marry him and not even know which opportunities she could have. I don't really think it's unrealistic the way they left it between them, I think it's life.

I miss them a lot too - but I LOVE watching the older episodes. Most of the shows I love are over, and I am so glad for DVDs so I can continue to watch whenever I want.
My friend and I just had a Gilmore Girls DVD marathon last night actually, while doing crafts.
And I agree with Squishy, the show lost a lot of it's spark without Amy and Dan. I'm not sure I wanted a new season with the new writers.
I wanted more of Luke and Lor too though, they are so cute together and we barely got to see any. I have to say though - the Rory plotline seemed to end at a good place. More would have been enjoyable, but it didn't seem necessary.

I may be a little strange but I think it ended really well. Sort of open ended and hopeful. Just hints about what the future would be for the characters. Though, of course I'm sad that it ended. No more banter!

I liked the last episode too, Lindsey. We discussed this before and I was in the miority. I liked that it was open-ended - it let's you imagine what could have happened. I don't like every singel detail getting happily wrapped up. That just wouldn't be true to their spirit.

ya, it is the kind of show you can watch over and over again. Ive seen all the episodes at least twice now (except the more recent ones) and I can never get tired of it. I honestly thought I would be tired of it by now.. but I cant seem to separate myself from their world... nor do I ever wish to.
