Well, last week it was lovely: mid 70s and partly cloudy. This week it's supposed to be 90s! Of course, the hot weather comes for the fair...

I thought it was always warm there.. Lol, I wish!, lol. People think that we have the same climate as Venezuela, and Colombia, etc. But our weather is more similar to London's or New York's. I mean it's not a "my fingers are turning into ice cubes" kinda cold, but you feel it quite a lot because there aren't any heating devices like warm air conditioners, and things like that. So you're always feeling a cold you could be mitigating... I think only the offices have heating devices, and the rest of us have to survive on archaic gas heaters, tons of clothing, etc. Plus we're really close to the cost, so we get a lot of cold wind coming from the water....

I guess I could compare your winters to those cold, damp days we get here right before the snow arrives. When it's damp the cold seems even worst, like it's going right through your bones. Ugh, I feel for you, my friend!

Lol, thanks, it's nice when someone sympathizes with you once in a while . You're right when it's damp it's horrible! I'm very sensitive to cold and humidity mixed, my bones always get stuck (oh my, I sound like an old lady!) and my hands start to get cramps, etc. When it's just plain and simply cold, I'm fine. But when there's fog, humidity and cold wind, I'm numb and immobile ...

I guess I know what kind of cold you mean My toes always get red and itching when it gets really cold.. What I hate most about cold weather, that when you wear something thick because it' cold outside but when you get in a bus, or train, or store, or just a building, and it is really hot in there.. I hate that... so, you mean you don't have ehm.. central heating or something?

Only offices do. And nobody has those air conditioner thingys (I think they're called "splits") that produce warm air and cold air. So in summer you only have a fan, and in winter a gas or halogen heater (and there are some called quartz heaters too), but nothing fancy, lol.

There are always fog and humidity here in Autumn and Winter...fog is something you can get used to, but I really hate when it's humid and cold. I'm in the hottest period of Summer right now (luckily it's not very sultry today) and it's a little weird to think about cold seasons... ;D

Still cold here. Yesterday was freezing - like a late fall day anywhere else. But I get warm weather soon!

It's still a very warm day outside, although not very sunny. When I got to work at 5.30 this morning, it has just rained a little and there were an amazing smell of rain and a pleasantly cold weather.

We're having a perfectly sunny, warm day for Nautel Day! Kinda sucks that I'm stuck at work .
