we're planning a trip to Spain and Portugal for 3 weeks in August. It's not for sure yet, but if we can scrounge up enough money, we'll be able to go. *excited*

I've been to portugal...actually I only spent 5 days in Lisbon (my cousin moved there 7 years ago) and I loved it, I'd like to go there again! And I'd love to visit Spain a friend of mine will probably stay in Spain for a uni semester.

we're planning a trip to Spain and Portugal for 3 weeks in August. It's not for sure yet, but if we can scrounge up enough money, we'll be able to go. *excited* portugal is beautiful. my fiance is portugese. he took me there to meet his extended family. i didnt want to leave. i really hope u can get enough money together to go. you will have a wonderful time. so much to see and do! beautiful castles and lovely shopping. we stayed at his house, near lisbon the roosters woke us up in the morning. and there are cows and ducks just walking in the street. i live 5 mins away from NYC so this kind of life is wonderful to me. lu is right, lisbon is great. im jealous. =o)

Have a great time in Gaspe, bookaddict!! (I hope none of your family live near Riviere-au-Renard... my brother-in-law's been searching for the body of the woman who drowned in the flood, that's so sad )

No, I have no family there. We're along the coast right next to Perce. It's really tragic, and sad.
