i work at forever 21, a clothes store. its pretty fun! My sister's entire wardrobe is practically Forever 21. I like the stuff too, but I never have time to go shopping with her (and if I do, I have no money). And I don't like buying clothes online lol

Since we moved I couldn't keep working at my old job... So I started looking for a place to work here. i've been to bookstores, clothingstores and none of them are looking for people. I didn't want to work at a supermarket again, so I had to find something else. Since the McDonalds is really close to where we live (15 minutes per bike) I decided to fill in a form online. Today they called me, if I could come for an interview tomorrow. So tomorrow I'll find out if I can work at McDonalds. I don't think it will be fun, but I just want to earn some money! And I just want to work on Saturdays, so I won't be spending a lot of time there anyway.

Did you get it? I worked at KFC for three years, fast food is hard work but often the managers and stuff are nice because they're not much older than you and not all uptight. The management at my store was really great.

Syl worked at McDonald's all the way through college and for the most part he really enjoyed it. I mean, it wasn't a glamorous job or anything, but he got to work with some really cool people and by the time he left he was assistant manager or whatever they call it, so that always looks good on a resume. Hope it works out great for you too, Carma!

That's great, Carma! I am giving pupils private lessons in English. This is a good thing since I want to become a teacher. And I earn good money.

hmm, I've only worked for 2 days, but I'm already thinking of quitting... I don't like the work! But I think it might be weird to quit after 2 days of work... *sigh*

hmm, I've only worked for 2 days, but I'm already thinking of quitting... I don't like the work! But I think it might be weird to quit after 2 days of work... *sigh* It will get easier. It can be very hard working in fast food at first. Everything is so hectic and there are so many demands at once. But you get the hang of it after a bit. After a few shifts you start to do everything faster and it all becomes sort of robotic, you don't even have to think that hard about it anymore.

ok, so I stayed working at McDonalds. But last week my dad said that I could work at his office, doing some administration. I've decided to take that job. Since it looks way better on my resume and it is way better than working at McDonalds. They asked me to come on friday, because then the student that is leaving could explain to me where she was left with her work. So now I need to quit my job at mcdonalds.. which I haven't done yet.. .

I'm working as a cleaner on a middle school. Very prestigious, I know, but the hours are great to combine with studying since I basically can do it whenever's good for me. The same school wants me to be a substitute teacher every now and then too, but nothing's come up yet.
