I've got a question for Dom or Jefie -
I just created a message board for my relatives using this same service, proboards, because my family wanted a fun way to stay connected and talk to each other. So I've got it all set up, and it's pretty easy to use so far. But there's one thing I can't figure out: How do you fix the star numbers for Admin members? It's giving me all 5 big stars, even though I only have 7 posts. Can I set it so my star level goes up by posts, like regular members?

I'm not actually sure, I can't see any way of doing it and I don't remember changing anything like that for this board. Jefie and I both have three blue stars though so it's odd we would have different stars to your admin stars if it's just a default setting. I think probably the best bet is to ask on the proboards support forum. Just as an aside tip too if you're ok with html socal.proboards26.com/ is really good for editing the look of your forum and adding or changing some features. I used it a lot for this forum. Sorry I couldn't help more

Hmm, actually now that I think about it, maybe it's not possible. At first I thought it must be because you and Jefie have fewer stars than Kristie, but now I see that you have blue stars, so they must give you the top number of stars and star color.
Oh well! Thanks for the advice about the support forum, I will look there!

I think you're right, we've just got the top ranking automatically. Looking at our member ranking settings the highest star setting a member can get is two blue ones, so I think it's just automatically given us one up from that? On the subject of rankings I wish the admins could get the cool "first short story published" etc rankings too but it's not possible

Can't I change my username? Just that I'd like to have a capital "L".
edit: Never mind. I'm just blind.

Is there anyway that I can configure my posts so that the predetermined color is black?

I have a question? How do you post a new thread? I noticed on the demo that there is an icon for it I am just not sure where that is. Let me know. Thanks

The "new thread" icon is at the top of each board, can you see it? It doesn't appear when you're already in a thread, only when you're viewing the full board with all the different threads.
