I think the problem is that most people see things in black and white. There´s the bad guy and the good side but there´s always so much more to it. Like Saddam Hussein, suddenly he´s the bad guy on everyones radar but before the wars no one was interested that he terrorized people.He was even given weapons by industrialized countries. You've hit the nail on the head there. I know that most of Iraq wanted him dead and perhaps that's why he was executed BUT it has made him a martyr and caused more tension. To have kept him in jail until he died would have been a much more humiliating, long drawn out ending for him, in the background to everything else. Killing him put him and his agenda at centre stage. Which should have been the last thing the Coalition should have done - then that tape leaks... Foolish. They have then fuelled more sectarian violence. *shakes head*
