That sounds exciting! I haven't been yet, I go in December so I still have some more time to save up.

You'll have a great time Dom, and no doubt come back even more cultured and sophisticated than me, and that gives me more incentive to envy you forever more, hehe!
With Lostgirl coming tomorrow, I now find myself desperate to save money and one day travel over to the US and see my three penpals.... at least it's a bonus to have the possibility of free accomodation! This trip however would have to come second to going to PEI a.k.a "Anne's Land"!

Neh, if you feel like going on a road trip while you're in New Jersey, PEI is only about 14 hours away

I'm leaving for Japan a week from Monday, I'm really excited, a little nervous and feeling really underplanned and underprepared!

wow, Japan...I'd be so excited too! I'm not a great traveler but I guess feeling underplanned or disorganized is normal, isn't it? I always feel like that when I'm planning a trip, even a short one

I just bought my plane ticket and registered at a language school in Madrid!!! I'm gonna be there for 3 weeks in April: I'll have Spanish lessons in the morning, cultural lessons in the afternoon, and I'll be living with a Spanish family. I'm so excited!! I really don't know all that much about Spain, I guess I'd better start doing some serious research

It's something I'd been thinking about for a while and then yesterday I happened to find a really good deal on tickets to Madrid so I've been running around like crazy all morning to fix this up and now it's a done deal!

For my first trip outside of the US, I am going on a trip to Mexico with my youth group in June. I'm almost done fundraising. I;m so excited, although worried about how we will be driving across the border, not flying across!
