Well at least we all have the same "hair that doesn't do what its told" problem... Once I tried a "reverse" perm (I just made that name up because I don't know the actual name) which instead of making your hair permanently curly it makes it straight, and you can imagine it did absolutely NOTHING...

Yeah, I think it was from L'oreal. They have different types of perm for various hair thicknesses, because I have thick hair I had to buy the strongest kind, and even so it didn't work. A few years later I tried another brand, which name I can't recall right now, and it lasted a bit longer, but it didn't survive from wash to wash....

I didn't really like her clothes while she was still in high school. I admit that I dress like that on certain days though. (Usually when I spent all night studying and I don't feel like being dressy the next day.)

Since I was old enough to pick my own clothes, I've dressed in that same sort of grunge-ish yet clean (lol) type of clothing, but you tend to grow tired of that, so I'm trying to update my wardrobe a bit, and experiment with different things... I mean I do look nice when it's required, but not as nice as Rory...

Thanks for posting that, Carma! Whenever I see something I like on G.G I try to make something similar for myself. Like this past two weeks I've been knitting a scarf which looks like the one Lorelai had in season 6 when she and Rory were dressing crazy, and today I fixed up a sweater with this little bow like one Rory had in either season 4 or 5 I can't remember. It's fun to sew!

Yes, that was the one, Dom! It was easy, you should do it too! Carma, I guess the only way to become good at knitting is to practise a lot. We had to knit quite a lot in school so that's how I learned;)

I think I will try it, I just have to find a suitable black sweater, the ones in the stores here are so low quality at the moment. I can knit too, but only easy stuff like scarfs

The other day I was browsing through www.reel-style.com, and I realized that 99% of Rory's clothes are made by Marc Jacobs.... In my world that means "expensive"... That's another thing I like better from the early days, they all dressed simply and without big fashion brands...
