Maybe they're too scared to hurt her feelings. Or else they all secretly want it. I can't think of why they would want it, maybe for scientific experiments.

She does wear more beautiful clothes now than in the old seasons.

As many of you here, I think that Rory's style changed considerably, since the first three seasons. Especially her hair too. Everybody makes a bad fashion choice once in a while and so does she. As already said: That makes the show more real. So it's fine by me. About the usual hair problems: Mine are naturally thin and fine and really, really straight, but fortunately I have lots of them ;D I can do with them just about everything, wearing it up or down, it doesn't matter. Curls work with my hair pretty good too, but it's really just an illusion if you think that Alexis has these curls for a week. The way they looked in season 5, she got them made every other take. And now it looks like every other day. So believe me, curls are always work and as I do have fairly the same hair she does, I can tell from experience But, I don't want to seem like a know-it-all in here!

I love the fact that you can see them wear the same clothes more than once, it gives the show more credibility. In the latest episode here in Norway (Rory was going out in the snow with Olivia and Lucy I think) she even wore a jacket which she had in season 2! It's so cool, because that's how it is in normal peoples lives...at least in mine...

I liked how in one of the episodes in season 6 when emily was putting rory's non current seasonal clothes away they were all ones from other episodes.

Im pretty sure I have the same problem as all you guys. My hair is really fine so when I try to curl it it just comes out after a few minutes. Not worth it.. and Im not getting a perm.. lol. Reminds me too much of 40 yr old women who get perms..

Speaking of bad fashion choices, remember that gigantic white sweater Rory wore in the beginning of the first season..

Speaking of bad fashion choices, remember that gigantic white sweater Rory wore in the beginning of the first season.. That was a horrible sweater but also a kind of cool: with this sweater she kind of said 'I wear what I want'. And making a statement is ok. I thought it was funny. ;D

What I realised when reading this website about clothes worn on tv shows.. the clothes the gilmore girls wear are all expensive.. and they're supposed to be just normal.. aren't they? so, I can't put curls in my hair either.. it stays in for an hour.. and with a lot of hairspray it stays in for probably 3 hours.. but then it's all gone.. besides that, I'm really happy with my hair!

I like the shirt Rory was wearing that said "Reading is sexy" and also this purple preppy jumper.

I like the 'formal' clothes Lorelai's wearing! But Rory's clothes are better in the latest seasons...

I can't believe you all try to get your fine and straight hair into curls!!! I have the opposite problem. I have what you could call "ringlets", so it's more than wavy and less than curly, it takes more than an hour to blow dry, and about the same to iron and it only lasts about 2 seconds.... lol But whenever I leave my hair "natural style" it never survives the night, the ringlets get all flat and bland....., and then I have to brush it and it becomes a whole new problem...
