lol, I think it's just because you live there - When I told people I was thinking about going to Paris, everyone told me I should make the ride to Belgium because it's so beautiful and people are so friendly. And yeah, can't forget about the chocolate, beer and fries!!

Well, I guess it can be kind of interesting for a day or a couple of days ^^ The cities are the most interesting, outside of them there are just really boring villages, and bits of nature. You can take the high speed train from Paris to Ghent (where I live!) or Brussels really easily. I did it a couple of times to visit my family who live in a village near Paris, but I haven't actually visited the city. I heard it is absolutely amazing though (and expensive...) All of my classmates are going to Paris around Easter, it's a school trip. I can't come, because I'll be in Argentina. Well, you have to make choices in life I really love taking the train. Probably because you can read! ... And it takes you places!

The train is by far my favorite mode of transportation - I'm taking the train tomorrow to go to Montreal! And you know, I'm sure that coming from Canada, I would love to visit those small villages you were talking about But I'm really looking forward to visiting Paris too, hope it lives up to my expectations!

I'm i the only one from Scandinavia here? I realise that this thread hasn't been "used" for a while, but what the heck. I'm Norwegian too, Oda, so that makes two of us! Where in Norway do you live?

NTNU is a good university I think. Pretty big, and a lot of smarties and me:) No really it's a great place to study, and the city has a great student community. I think Trondheim is just big and just small enough, but that's probably because I'm from such a little place (I get lost in Oslo and that's kinda embarrasing so I always ask directions in English pretending that I'm a tourist:S) Do you go to UiO or something?

I study to become a teacher (lektor) in English, history and Spanish. It's only my first year though, so I haven't done too much yet. What are you applying for?

Im thinking about psychology... I studied psychology in undergrad and loved it! If this whole lawyer thing doesn't work out (and I'm not sure it is going to ), I'll probably go back to psychology.
