Australia, so basically unless I go to bed really late or get up early, no one else is online (except neh who also lives in Australia) at the same time as me a lot of the time. Most of the activity seems to occur while I'm dreaming

I'd love to go to Australia! Somehow I've always thought of Australia as Canada's cousin, maybe because both countries are part of the Commonwealth and were settled pretty much the same way at pretty much the same time... And it's kinda cool to think that we're located at almost exact opposite ends of the globe!

i want to go to ireland! i've been to scotland, for a week , edinburgh to be exact. my tour guide through parts of scotland was actually irish: go figure! and the first restaurant i ate in while in edinburgh was a TGIFridays with an australian waitress. i don't know exactly how many people i met in scotland that were actually scottish.[/font]

I might go to Ireland this spring, if things work out the way we want them to. My husband's family hails from Ireland so he's always wanted to go, and I've always wanted to go because a lot of people say I look Irish and I want to see if it's true or not! But on a more serious note, I've always been fascinated by the history of Ireland so there are lots of things I have read about that I would like to see for myself.

Alot of people here think Canada has the best conditions for it's citizens in the Western world etc etc. Australia's good, lots of beaches, mountains, nice scenary and interesting animals etc, very hot, I've never been into the outback before so I can't really comment, but I've heard there's lots of bugs.

Well, as our ex-prime minister said, we are the "most best country in the world", lol! But we do have to deal with snow for the better part of the year, I think that turns a lot of people off.

i like snow more than i like warm beaches. i've never really been the beach type person. i love to be cold and to cuddle and get warm. i get lots of snow in ohio. but i hate snow when it's at that gross blackish slush stage right before it melts. looks so gross.

Yes, the slush stage is not fun.
