Yeah, basically, in the Gilmore's point of view the humiliation of Dean was justified but Rory's was unfair!

Yeah, I guess I understand that. But still seems hypocritical to me...

I noticed that, but I haven't actually seen that episode of season 5 until today (it was on tv this afternoon while I was doing my break from studying ), I agree with you Michelle, it seems hypocritical to me too...but it is interesting to see how the Gilmores react.

I like seasons 1- 4. Although I really like all of them up through six, but I think that seasons 1- 4 give me a really happy feeling. I only liked the bits in season 7 with lucy and olivia.

I started thinking about this question, but somehow I keep mixing it up with Friends' seasons and my faves from those. My mind is a stupid thing. Or then it's too long ago when I last watched GG.
But I think I have to say the same as Abby, 1-4 are the best ones. Or I could maybe even ditch the fourth. But the best season from the first three.. That's a harder one. That question would need a re-run.
This topic reminds me that I still haven't completed my dvd collection with the seventh season's dvd box..

The early years of Gilmore Girls are amazing. but I love season 5 [up until the last couple episodes of course], because Rory and Lorelai aren't estranged and Lorelai and Luke are happy [except for that breakup. First episodes of season 6 sucked because of the whole Lorelai and Rory thing, but the sad part is that the episode that Rory and Lorelai reunite, Luke finds out about April and that all went downhill from there. And then season 7 was terrible, in Luke and Lorelai terms. That was heartbreaking to watch.

Been rewatching GG with Syl and I think "There's the Rub" is one of my favorite episodes ever. I love the interaction between Lorelai and Emily, and I also love the scene where Jess, Rory and Paris are talking about Jack Kerouac - I think that more than any other time in the series, I got to see how Jess could fit so well into Rory's world if only he wasn't so messed up!

I hate when Lorelai and Rory are estranged! I'm sure many people would agree with me on that. I do like the first three seasons the best but I think that's only because they are the ones I fell in love with. I also like the whole Rory/Jess relationship!

I love the earlier gilmore girl season like 2 and 3, but i also liked season 7 because it was so bittersweet. I think 2 and 3 are my favorites because of jess lol
