hey Kristina welcome to the club! Literature and Sciences? as in biology? or social sciences? If biology esque sciences that is so different to the system over here in Australia! I've never heard of a degree like that before!

hey everyone, My name is Damien. I'm 21 and studying Business Economics. I try to make the most out of fiction because I'm always reading dry economic publications. i love Russian lit., and love the references to anything Russian on GG. I never posted on the other forum, but i'm glad you guys created this one to feed the fix. I may be the only guy here; so I have to say that the pink colors on this board need to go.

What is it like being the only boy? In my library technician program there's only one guy, and we always forget he's there, and start talking about things he probably doesn't want to listen to.

What is it like being the only boy? I'll get by. I work in the skin care industry so i'm used to working with many many many women all day long. If i need distance from lotions and cleansers and girls then I go straight to talking about motorcycle, cars, and the FA.

That sounds familiar. When I'm at work with my brothers and they don't want to listen to me any more, they just start going on about cars.

They do compliment each other. That's what I almost did. But then I decided to just do history. I'm lazy that way.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to come say hello and that I'm new on here. I love reading although I don't have much time at the moment - I'm finishing high school in a month! I live in the sunny South Africa and I like reading english classics. I kind of lurked over at the old WB boards and posted once in a while. I guess that's all for now.

G'day all! My name's Renee. I'm 20 years old and i reside in Rathmines, a coastal town in N.S.W Australia. I am an old school chum of Poisonpen, much to my ... pride and delight! No, really Dom's a doozy and she'll be a great admin here: she loves her books. I am currently in 1st year of my B.A. course at Newcastle Uni; i hope to major in either Drama, Film or Creative Writing (i should really make up my mind) My passions aside from books (of which i have very random tastes, so it's hard to locate a fav genre) are musical theatre (love my musicals! LOVE 'EM!), film and writing (poetry mainly, though prose-wise i have dabbled in some fanfiction). I am very happy to be here, coz i adore my GG! Great show, and Rory's a fantastic soulmate for all of us who love to delve into the worlds lit can provide.
