36 so far... I've slowed down a lot recently, I'm not sure why, but I just haven't been reading a lot....

That's amazing! I am actually kind of afraid to look at my list...I haven't read much over the past year!

I've finished about 30 books, I'm really disappointed in myself. I promised myself that I'll read at least 50 books this year, but I'm quite sure that I will not finish 20 books in one and a half months.

I've read something like 28. I think I didn't anticipate how much writing and reading I would have in my History classes. But I think I thought that I might get around to 50 books this year, but I spent the summer wilding instead of reading.

40. I'm pretty happy about that b/c I've never read this many in 1 year! I was doing good at reading 4 or 5/month until November. Then it dropped down to 1/month!

41, not my personal best, but what can you do when you just don't have time. But holiday begins soon, so maybe I get 45 by the end of the year

This has easily been my most pitiful reading year... around 14, if i count correctly. Oh me, oh my... That's not too shabby -- it's more than one book per month. That's the rate I read at, to be honest.

Looks like my total for 2008 will be 30, which is more than half what I'd read in 2007, but I had a New Year's resolution to keep up that slowed me down quite a bit.

I'm at 26 for the year I think. That's a little more than half the number I read last year. I definitely will not make my goal of 47 (one more than last year). But, 22 of those came in the first half of the year, so really I just had a bad second half of 2008.
