Just going back to what Dorothy said about adult covers. In the US, I believe there is just one cover for children and adults. Does every other country have different images on the covers for the different age groups? I believe here in holland we only have one cover, for adult and children and since everybody's posting their special topics in calamity psyics covers here's mine (the dutch version) that look s a lot like one of the english..:

Lu, those covers are really interesting, and different, from what we have here.
As far as the US cover for Special Topics in Calamity Physics, here's a link to a picture (photobucket.com is down at the moment) www.flickr.com/photos/patricking/409178134/ It's definitely the worst looking of all the covers I've seen from you guys.

Those are really cool covers Kristie! In honor of the 50th anniversary of On the Road by Jack Kerouac, here's a link to a great site that shows all the covers there have ever been for On the Road: mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/jkbooks/

That´s a great link, thanks. I have the German version Rororo 1968 which is a bit boring. I like the Allen Lane 2007 edition.

I have the Spanish edition of 89. It was ridiculously expensive, but I managed to buy it two years ago with some money my friends had given me for my birthday. I personally like the American Penguin edition of 94, and the Allen Lane edition of 2007 also.

I read the edition "Mondadori 1970", which looks really horrible, but I don't own it yet, I checked it out from library. Me too, carma I want to read it in English and that's a good excuse to buy it I like the Penguin 1994 edition.

I have the 1994 penguin version which is actually one of my favorites. I have the 1994 Penguin too, and I like it. I think my favorite though is the 2007 UK Penguin one.

I like that cover too, Lu! The Penguin Classic Deluxe editions are all so gorgeous! The AIGA just announced their selection of the 100 best book cover designs from 2006. You can view them all easily here: designarchives.aiga.org/
