I'm going to the library straight after work - I was on the waiting list for some tour guides to Mexico and they got in this morning. I'd also like to get a Joanne Harris novel...

You think it's embarassing, I keep forgetting what the title of the book is called.

They were all out of Joanne Harris novels so I'll have to go to another library branch. She's one of my friends' favorite authors but I've never read anything by her so I'd like to give it a try. My friend suggested starting with Five Quarters of an Orange.

I'm Horrible with returning Library books ... I owe them like $100 in fines :S i like being able to look back at books that i've read and I am not rich enough to buy all my books new so the Used Book Store is definitely for me!

Surprisingly I always manage to return them just in time. Wanted to check out running with scissors today but it´s a new acquisition and it´s not on the shelves yet. They didn´t have the money to buy new books and only started last month. Stupid politics!
Anyway, I checked out: -visions of sugar plums by Janet Evanovich -the hungry tide by Amitav Gosh -snow flower and the secret fan by Lisa See

Visions of Sugar plums by Janet Evanvich is a cute, quick book. I just ordered "Running with Scissors" because it was on sale for 5.99$ and hardcover.

I hope I´ll get it for my birthday since I don´t want to wait until the library gets it ready.
I love the Stephanie Plum novels. They´re hilarious.

Have you tried "Metro Girl" and "Motor Mouth"?
I read "Metro Girl" it was interesting...not as great as Stephanie Plum

I've heard that's a good one. I've been wanting to read it, but I'm still on the waiting list at the library.

I've read them all up to "Twelve Sharp"
They are another series. They are good too, not as good as Stephanie Plum. I love Stephanie Plum and it would be hard to top them.
