I'm really hoping my friend got my message about this book as a suggestion for a b'day present, because all this talk of it's merits is making me impatient to have it myself!

I loved The Thirteenth Tale! The plot was really compelling, and the gothic tone was spine-tingling. Anyone who hasn't read it DEFINATELY should!
