I was just wondering if any of you have read his books and what you think of them. I know he wrote - Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
- Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister: A Novel
- Mirror,Mirror

He's also written: Son of a Witch which is his sequel to Wicked. He might have written more, but none that I know of. I haven't read any of them, but I have Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister on my pile to read.

I've read Wicked and Son of a Witch. They were pretty good. They were darker than I thought they would be. I liked Son of a Witch better, but maybe it was because I knew what to expect. I'd recommend them. I'll probably read more of his books someday.

I read Confessions.. and I really enjoyed it. It was very different from what I thought it would be - I was expecting some sort of modern twist on the Cinderella story, but it's so much more than that! I can't say that I really liked the way it was written (it's written at the present tense), but I thought it was a great historical novel.

I have Wicked and Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, but I have not read them yet. I want to read them, but they just haven't made it to the top of my to be read pile.
I've heard they're great, but a little hard to get into. My friend told me to not worry about all the politics going on in Wicked and enjoy the rest of the story - to not get hung up in slowing reading those sections because they are not that important and are rather frustrating.

I´ve read wicked and confessions. I thought wicked was harder to get into, partly because of the politics. Confessions was an easy read and is now one of my favorites. I´d love to read mirror, mirror and son of a witch, and also his children´s books.

I've heard of them all, mainly on here by hearing about people reading them, but I've never read any or seen any in the stores. I might check if the library has them.

I still haven't read it, but I bought Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister a while ago. Hope it's not too bad.

I haven't read any of his work, so I'm skeptical but willing to read him at least once. Hence why I actually bought the book...

we went over broadway in my theatre appreciation class today and we watched a movie about wicked the musical. it just talked about how they went about figuring out set design, costumes, dances, etc. it was actually really interesting. i would love to see it performed because i really enjoyed the book.
